No sharing or contacting members via any means as per POPIA ACT.

The WhatsApp notifications in this group are overwhelming. If you find them bothersome, feel free to mute them.

Viewing
Lots are listed on WhatsApp for prospective buyers to view at least an hour before the auction starts.
Conditions Of Sale

A 10% buyers’ premium is applicable to the sale. For example: if your winning bid is R100, you will pay R110.

Some assets might have a reserve price and other assets might be sold subject to the Seller’s confirmation (STC).
Details will be provided in the information tab of each lot.

The Auctioneer does not hold himself responsible for any errors in description. A bid shall be taken as proof
that the bidder has made himself or herself acquainted with the conditions for lots for he or she bids.

The Auctioneer will not be responsible for any issues caused by poor internet connections or
slow speeds that might affect the bidding process.

Once the Auctioneer’s screen displays the word “Sold,” no further bids will be considered, even if a bid was placed
before the “Sold” message appeared on the buyer’s screen. To ensure transparency, the Auctioneer will take a screenshot
of his screen as a record for all buyers.

The highest accepted bidder shall be the purchaser.

The Auctioneer reserves the right to regulate the bidding and may withdraw any item at any time.

All auction items are sold “Voetstoots” — no warranties, no guarantees, no repair obligations, and no refunds.

“As Found” indicates that the item is sold in its current condition, which may include being non-functional or requiring repair.

If an items is working it will be stated as working.

All sales are final.

If an item is sold to a buyer, no cancellations will be accepted!

Lots once knocked down remain at the risk of the purchaser.

The Auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of third parties, vendors, and absentee bidders.

We will not entertain any bid below the starting bid.

Minimum bid increment is R5 up to R100.

Minimum bid increment is R10 after R100.
-
Minimum bid increment is R50 after R500.

No quirky bids like R33, R189, or R776 — let’s keep it simple and avoid the math headaches!
Auction Process
We start with Lot 1. Once Lot 1 is concluded, we’ll move on to Lot 2 and continue in numerical order from there.
Once we’ve completed the final lot, we’ll circle back to any unsold items, addressing them one by one before moving on to the next.
Payments

Once an auction is concluded, the member will be sent an invoice via WhatsApp.

Payment is due within 24 hours upon receipt of the invoice.

Accepted payment methods include cash, card, normal EFT, instant EFT, or direct deposit.

If you’re paying cash, please bring the exact amount. We don’t do change.

Buyers who fail to settle an invoice will be banned and removed from the group immediately.
-
Buyers with outstanding invoices are not allowed to place bids on any auction.
Collections
-
Buyers can collect their items once payments are made.
-
All lots must be collected within 5 days of receiving your invoice.
-
After 5 days, a storage fee of R50 per lot per day will be charged for any items left at Busca Auctioneers.
-
If items aren’t collected within 10 days, they will be reauctioned to cover costs.
-
The forfeited buyer will be responsible for the seller’s commission at the usual rate and any difference in resale value.
-
If the item resells for a profit, the extra will be paid to the forfeited buyer.

Selling Process
Sellers can deliver goods to our auction house, or we can arrange collection from the seller’s site.
Upon arrival at the auction house, goods are cleaned, inspected, cataloged, and assigned lot numbers.
After the auction, once the goods are sold and buyers have paid, the auctioneer pays the seller within 14 days, deducting
commission and any applicable collection fees. We offer collection services in the Govan Mbeki area and surrounding regions.
Terms and Conditions

Kindly ensure that the items you bring to Busca Auctioneers are in good working condition.

Once goods are handed over to us, we are not responsible or accountable for any damage incurred.

Seller’s goods not auctioned off must be removed from the premises within 30 days or they will
be sold, and the proceeds will be retained for storage fees.
